FHPB Railroad Supply

As of 15 September 2005, FH&PB Railroad Supply has ceased production of kits. After six years of making conversion kits for Accucraft and Bachmann locomotives and rolling stock kits, I have made the difficult decision to end the business. This is due to the confluence of several personal issues that have made it increasingly difficult to give my customers the service and products they deserve in a timely manner.

I want to thank all the wonderful customers who have bought kits from me. I have had nothing but good experiences with them and count them among the finest people in the world.

Bachmann Consolidation wooden cab kit For scratchbuilders or for replacement of the cab on the Bachmann outside-frame 2-8-0.
Large wood-spoke pilot kit This large wooden pilot is suitable for full-size road locomotives such as the Accucraft C-16 or Mogul or the MLS Mason Bogie. Laser-cut from 3/32" plywood, includes cast metal link-and-pin couplers. Dimensions: high, 2.28" long, 3.14" wide, 1.19" high.

Bachmann Porter wood cab kit Fits the Bachmann Porter 0-4-0 locomotives. This cab is a direct replacement for original plastic cab, in 1:20.3 scale. New! This kit is easy to adapt to the Bachmann industrial 2-6-0. Click on the link for photos. Laser-cut plywood. Dimensions: 4.2" high, 3.75" wide, 4.14" long.
Denver, South Park & Pacific 27-foot Tiffany refrigerator car These cars were used on the DSP&P, Kansas Central, Colorado Central, and later the Colorado & Southern.
Accucraft C-16 Wood Cab kit Exact fit, detailed replacement for original metal cab. Laser-cut plywood with acrylic glazing, sliding windows, opening front doors, removable roof. Back rear panel may be removed for installation on live steam models. May be built with one, two or four side panels, with or without roof hatch to match the era of your model. Typical D&RGW design is also suitable for other locomotives of similar size. Dimensions: 3.9" high, 4.21" wide, 3.16" long (body), 5.07" long (roof).
D&RGW 27-foot boxcar kit A special-order project, not currently available. We plan to offer this kit again with the correct Thielsen trucks, and in a UP narrow gauge version (DSP&P, Kansas Central, Colo. Central, et al.).
