The Albuquerque Folk Festival is a non-profit event held with the goal of increasing the public's participation in music and dance activities. Vendors
In 2007, we had a vastly expanded number of vendors who showed their wares at the festival, thanks to the hard work of Judy Muldawer lining folks up. These vendors are a valuable resource to the folk arts community, and we appreciate their support of that community and the folk festival. If you are a vendor selling items that would be of interest to folk festival attendees, contact us to find out how you can be part of the festival.
How to Make a Contribution to the Albuquerque Folk Festival:
Sit down and figure out the cost of a movie and snacks for your family. Your gift of that amount to AFF will provide thousands of people with 60 workshops, 7 folk bands, unlimited jam sessions and an unforgettable 12-hour experience. Talk about a bargain!
Make your check out to the Albuquerque Folk Festival. It's tax deductible!
Mail it to
Albuquerque Folk Festival P.O. Box 4837 Albuquerque, NM 87196Do it now. You'll be glad. Thanks.
Donations of Closet Instruments
A closet instrument is a musical instrument nobody plays. It sits in the closet year after year while an aspiring musician longs for an instrument to play.
The Albuquerque Folk Festival can help. Instruments are made to be played. When you donate your closet instruments to AFF, we will give you a tax-deductible receipt for its appraised value. Any instrument, not just folk instruments, will do. Local dealers will let us trade for instruments we can use in the Festival workshops. Also, we have arranged for Apple Mountain Music to rent them--proceeds to AFF.
If the instrument is not rentable or usable due to damage, etc., we will offer it for sale by silent auction at the Festival. In any event, your closet instrument will find its way to a player.
E-mail a description of your instrument to us, sponsors@abqfolkfest.org and we'll contact you. Thanks!
