Having choices is empowering. Choice helps us to realize our dreams. At Adelante, we understand that this is especially true for people with disabilities. Our mission is to support people with disabilities as they discover and implement their personal goals in life.

Adelante's services are community-based and include programs for people who are physically or mentally disabled (including people with severely disabling conditions), those who have chronic neuromuscular diseases, and those who are disabled simply due to the aging process.

Adelante is a nonprofit agency founded in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Discover our new seniors day service! We provide part-time, respite and as-needed services for seniors!

We currently have locations in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Belen, Artesia, and Los Lunas. Adelante, which means ‘forward’ in Spanish, describes our approach to supporting people with disabilities. Too many people are taught to stay where they are and accept the limitations of stereotypes and society. Adelante says, "Set goals and we will help you achieve them."
