ASAP

Adelante marked the milestone of the agency’s 30th Anniversary with a celebration held at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque on September 27, 2008. The event was a fundraising success for the agency's programs and will be used to support people with disabilities here in New Mexico.

Adelante greatly appreciates the sponsors who helped with the event including Albuquerque the Magazine, Bank of the West, Clear Channel Outdoor, Lighthouse Business Solutions, and Wells Fargo Bank. Thank you!

Run for the Hills!

In Fall 2007, Adelante was the beneficiary of all of the proceeds from the annual Run for the Hills Race.

This is the 11th installation of the all-terrain race which takes place in the Albuquerque foothills. All proceeds from Run for the Hills 2007 benefited the programs at Adelante. We greatly appreciate everyone who was a sponsor, runner, walker or volunteer at the event. Your participation helps Adelante to provide employment, life skills training, therapies, and residential support for people with disabilities.

Thank you to our major sponsors: Heritage Hotels, New Mexico Bank & Trust and radio station 610 The Sports Animal.

Liberty Tax Event Helps Raise Funds for Adelante

Liberty Tax Service recently hosted a fundraising event to help raise funds for Adelante Development Center. The Prepare to Repair event was held March 10, 2007 at Liberty Tax Service. Adelante manages over 20 homes for people with disabilities and the money raised will help Adelante make needed repairs to those homes. Adelante appreciates the hard work Liberty put into the event and all the local businesses and organizations who pitched in to make the event a success: Albertson’s, Bauer & Associates, Benny’s/Benny’s II, El Seminario, Jus-4-Fun, Los Lunas Art & Frames, Los Lunas Fire Department, 106.3 The Range, Rak’s Building Supply, local band Chemical Imbalance, and the Valencia County News Bulletin.

Ron Clark of Liberty Tax Service poses with Lady Liberty and Uncle Sam at the first annual Prepare to Repair.
