                What is the BIG IDEA?

     Is it GOD?
 -the institutionalized externalization of human potential?

     Is it LOVE?
 -who loves ya baby?

     Is it PEACE?
 -can you have peace without a lucrative little war or two for comparison?

     Is it JOY?
 -that warm feeling that comes with the knowledge that you possess wealth 
 enough to weather a lifetime or two of 1000% inflation?

     Is it POWER?
 -power to vaporize the minions of your international poker pals at the 
 touch of a button?

     Is it GLORY?
 -the passive admiration of a multi-media mesmerized populace for the 
 well-dressed exploits of the upper classes nearsighted expediencies and 
 boundless stupidity, and more likely their supreme ability to get away 
 with it?

     Is it HONOR?
 -that pernicious desire to cloak our misdeeds in robes of piety, authority,
 grace?

     Is it LOYALTY?
 -loyalty to all the BIG IDEAS?

     Is it COURAGE?
 -the courage to look the other way when nasty things are happening?

     Is the big idea IMAGE?
 -is it better to look good than to feel good?

Or, is it more mundane, something akin to collective global SUICIDE?

                WHAT IS THE BIG IDEA?
