The Middle Ages Knife is 6.5 inches long including the handle of either bone, wood, or horn. The knife has a 3 and 1/2 inch blade with a "scale" style tang or full tang with a wood handle affixed with rivets. The blade is stainless steel. This historical utility knife dates from 1150 to 1550. Many examples are covered in Museum of London's "Knives and Scabbards" by J. Cowgill, M De Neergaard, and N. Griffiths.
