Medieval Military Pouch Gallery

The Medieval Military Pouch is very similar to those detailed by the "Museum of London's Dress Accessories - Medieval Finds From Excavations in London," as one of the types of leather purse with flaps.  It is based on photos from "The Medieval Soldier," by Embelton & Howe.

The Military pouch features a wood buttoned belt loop for easy removal.  The front flap closes using a period style double oval buckle shown in the Museum of London's Dress Accessories book.

The Medieval Military pouch or purse is made of leather and has two draw string bags on the outside, comes in Brown and period style brass double oval buckle and two pouchlets with period fasteners. The body of the pouch  measures9  inches wide at the bottom 5 inches wide at the top, 8 inches high (not including belt loop), will accommodate a full checkbook and more, and fits on a 2 1/2 inch belt.
