Explosion Proof All 100% Air Pneumatic PID Loop Controller.

This unit uses no electricals what so ever. It operates completely with air (or compressed inert gas).  The front panel has 6 large gages, 2 of which display cfm/fpm 0 to 75,000/3100.  Two display 0 to 100% for controller output levels.  One displays static pressure from 0 to 3" of water column.  The 6th one displays air resistance from 0 to 1" wc.  The 5 internal gages on the Dialtrol Control Panel are air pressure and 4 of them have regulators.  I count a total of at least 14 pneumatic functions in the box (including pressure regulators). One is labeled Series 100 Square Root Extractor and Scaling Multiplier. Another is labeled Return Air Transmitter Return Air Square Root Extra & Multiplier CFM Differential Controller. Another is labeled Exactor 400 Supply Air Transmitter.

This unit is by Air Monitor Corp. It is control center type VARI-Master/PIC-2 for a supply fan.  It has reverse control action, 4 & 1 minute derivative time and a proportional band of 24% at 12 psi.

I have never seen one of these before.  It just goes to show that functions normally done with analog or digital electronics can be done via a total different medium--in this case air.

Condition looks near new inside. The faces of the panel gages need a really good Plexiglas polishing to minimize the scratching/scuffing they have gotten. No docs and not tested. Sold as-is. What you see is what you get.

Payment via Billpoint or Paypal is strongly recommended as it cuts about a week off delivery delay (waiting for a check by mail). BidPay works too but takes a few more days for the money to get to me. However, method of payment is ultimately the buyers choice. If payment is by business or personal check, you will have an additional 2 weeks wait time for our bank to confirm your check cleared before the item is released. If payment is not received within 10 days of notification of total amount due, transaction is subject to being listed as failed for non-payment and the item being sold to another buyer.
