There are 26 images so stick around a while if you are really interested.
As many as 40 different bulk components were placed in the in-feed slots in the foreground. The whole in-feed tray section traverses back and forth on a linear bearing and ball screw drive system.
The image above is from the front or opposite side as the first image. The component in-feed slots are barely visible to the back. The circuit boards travel from right to left or left to right in the region just behind the labels. The actual pick and place insertion occurs in the area under the top cover (with the orange lights on top) and between the two blue bars.
The end view image above shows the traveling component in-feed section on the left. You can just make out the end of the round linear bearing rod. There appears to be additional bulk component storage under the in-feed slots. The track that the printed circuit boards travel on can be seen mind right (about a foot wide).
The image above shows the component in-feed side operator control.
The image below is looking down on the center of the component in-feed slots.
The image above shows the individual component handling modules. (Not all 40 are installed.)
The image above shows one end of the linear bearing rail and the left-side linear-bearing block.
The image above is looking at the insertion area. Note the blue bars are light-curtain safety sensors.
The image below shows the pick-&-place insertion mechanism. The modules to the right and left with the red labels appear to be some sort of vision or optical sensor units.
The image above shows the left front control panel.
The image below shows the right front control panel.
The images above and below are the right end view.
The image above shows the linear bearing rod and right linear bearing block.
The images below show behind the lower panels. This area contains the electrical controls and drives. A standard electrical motor and a servo motor are visible in one of the images.
This is your chance to "steal" a multi-hundred
thousand dollar piece of automation equipment if you have need for it.
Other wise, it is your chance to pickup a bunch of CNC, robotics and automation
components. Overall length is estimated at 10 feet and width at 4
to 5 feet. Guesstimate on weight is 3000 to 4000 pounds--could be as
little as 2 and as much as 6. Condition
looks older used. It looks reasonably complete but is sold as a parts
unit only.
Sold as-is. What you see is what you get. We are in the Desert Southwest so items may need dusting/cleaning when they arrive.
Most items generally have some degree of cosmetic scuffing, scratches, etc. from
use, storage, handling and transportation. May also have the remains/residue of
inventory tags that we did not get cleaned off. If no one is
seriously interested in the whole thing, we will part it out.

This is a used/surplus item, selling at a fraction of its original price/cost and has no warranty. While the item will be as described before we send it, there is always a chance that something will happen in shipping. If you need service like a new item, go buy a new one. Alternatively, a limited warranty can be purchased at extra cost on some items (ask). When we do accept a return on an item, the buyer must first obtain an RMA # from us. The buyer pays packing and shipping costs both ways on returns.
Listing description is correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of listing but we are subject to making human errors. The seller's liability, in the event of a listing error, is limited to the amount of the winning bid paid and does not include any responsibility for lost time, opportunity, inconvenience, etc. on the part of the buyer.
By bidding on this item, the bidder/buyer agrees to assume all responsibility and risk with regard to the appropriateness and legal use of the item and that the seller is free of all liability regarding the use, disposition, condition, legality and appropriateness of this item.
Winning bidder pays all packing and shipping costs in addition to bid amount unless picked up at source (zip
87124). (Note that packing & shipping charges are based on weight, size and fragility and have nothing to do
with the bid price. Something with a bid price that is almost free could be big, heavy and fragile with
commensurately significant P&S charges.) This also means that if the trucking company comes up with extra charges after delivery, the buyer will be required to pay these charges in addition to the quoted amount.
Very small items of only a few ounces generally go first class mail with no insurance and no tracking.
Items of only a couple pounds usually go priority mail with no insurance and no tracking.
FedEx ground is currently our shipper of choice for most items more than a couple pounds.
(that have a packed weight less than 150 pounds and are small enough to meet FedEx Ground package size restrictions.)
FedEx ground automatically includes $100 insurance and tracking. Used items by truck are only insured for 10 cents per pound unless additional coverage is purchased. If you want to pay for extra insurance, be sure to
clearly communicate how much.
Please send your shipping address (including zip code) and delivery contact phone number as soon as you are
notified that you are the winning bidder so we can get back to you with the packing and shipping cost. Please
note if yours is a business or residential address (Businesses located in a home are residential for shipping
purposes.) If you do not
include a delivery contact phone number with your shipping address and there is
a problem with delivery, you will not get a refund and you will have to pay for
both the return and redelivery shipping cost!
(Phone numbers are only used for contact regarding this item and are not
used for a solicitation list as we hate phone solicitors at least as much as
anyone.) Items that weigh more than 150 pounds or are bigger than 130" length plus girth must ship by motor freight carrier, preferably freight collect. Please note that used items shipped by truck are only insured at 10 cents per pound. Extra insurance can be
purchased through a third party insurer if explicitly requested and paid for. Also note that it may take several days for these larger items to get packed and picked up by a truck.
Payment via Billpoint or Paypal is strongly recommended as it cuts about a week off delivery delay (waiting for a check by mail). BidPay works too but takes a few more days for the money to get to me. However, method of payment is ultimately the buyers choice.
If payment is by business or personal check, you will have an additional 3 weeks wait time for our bank to confirm your check cleared before the item is released. (THIS MEANS IT CAN TAKE AS LONG AS 45 DAYS FOR YOUR ITEM TO ARRIVE IF YOU PAY BY CHECK!!!)
If payment is not received within 10 days of notification of total amount due, transaction is subject to being listed
as failed for non-payment and the item being sold to another buyer. Pay by credit card through the PayPal.com service and get this item shipped to you immediately.
Please feel free to ask questions. However, make sure you include the item description so we know what you are
interested in and we can't calculate shipping cost unless you give us your zip code. Note that if you wait to the last
