Cornelia Sachs began to explore many different disciplines of body-mind work after the loss of her leg due bone cancer in 1980.  Her path lead her though several countries and learning different methods to work with mind and body. She studied Yoga, Naturopathy, birth preparation instructions and Eutonie Gerda Alexander in Germany and Denmark, lived in Austria, the Philippines and Switzerland, and the USA where she trained in the practice of the Feldenkrais Method.

Cornelia Sachs is interested in exploring the use of self and how we are in the world. She uses movement to come back in touch with ourselves, to feel the skin again and to be at home in the body with awareness.  She has her private practice in Albuquerque. If you want to contact Cornelia, please call her at 505-286-2930 or send her e-mail to cornelia@nmia.com.

In 2010, she took a class in small metals with Lauren Tobey at Meltdown Studio and since then enjoys very much to express her creativity in copper and silver.

"Eliminate the old habit of listening to others about your own comfort and convenience.  - The object of this learning is to remove outside authority from your inner life. "
