Armrest Removal, e32, e34

Remove the two phillips head screws on the lower sides of the seatback, the plastic screw head covers pry off with a knifeblade:

The rear seatback panel prys off by using fingertips under the bottom edge & then lower it a few inches to disengage the upper clips:

There is a rollpin holding the armrest onto the seatback frame. Drive the pin out with a punch:

The plastic escutcheon prys off with a blade. The end of the cover is fastened with staples & I would assume also a little adhesive. I haven't removed the covers on mine. I would assume that with the staples removed, the cover will pry back over the end & slide off.
