[13496] She and her brothers inherited the ranch from her mother, Monica. Filiberto and Eufracio both had died in 1933 leaving her as sole owner.

[141746] As community property he had been owner of the the Gallegos Ranch. As a result of the divorce, Sara became sole owner of the ranch. Management of the ranch transfered to their son Frank L. C. de Baca. He acquired the ranch on the death of his mother and then sold the ranch in 1975. The present owners of the ranch have been most gracious to the family by hosting family reunions and by carefully restoring and caring for the buildings and the church.
