[2272] He stated that he was close to 64 years old and that his grand daughter (Maria de Abendaño) was married to Diego de Vera. Immediately following his testamony was that of Catalina de Villanueva "mujer de Capt. Juan López Olguin" who gave the same testimony and gave her age as "close to 50 years." Both were described as "besinos fundadores de Santa Fe" (founding citizens of Santa Fe). His grand daughter Maria was the daugter of his illigitimate son Simon de Abendaño and Maria de Villanueva Ortiz y Baca.
