She also was known as Delfinia Trujillo. Tía Delia says Delfinia may have been raised by the Trujillo family. She does not appear in the 1880 NM census for Puerto de Luna in the Serrano household. Only Amada Serrano is listed with her daughter Virginia, 5 and two servants.Perhaps the enumerator taking the census wrote down "Virginia" because he misunderstood "Delfinia".

On her death certificate, her parents are listed as Vidal Serrano and Amada Serrano; her age was estimated at 83. At this time, no Vidal Serrano has been located (I believe Amada may
have made up this person to validate the illigitamacy of her daughter). More research is needed into this mystery.

In the Anton Chico book it lists:Page 111. Diciembre 19 de 1872. (B)Autize a Delfinio Cerrano, hijo ilegitimo de Amada Cerrano, de Bosque Redondo. Padrinos: Teodoro Casados y Macedonia Cena. Although there is a gender difference here, it could very well have been a mistake by the person writing the information. This information fits otherwise. Maria Macedonia Cena (SENA)'s husband was Teodoro Casaus. She was the daughter of Tomás Antonio Sena and Maria Rafael Martin and sister to Jose Luciano Sena.
