Mike Roberts
Roberts is the Sports Director at sister station KKOB-AM. He does
morning and afternoon drive-time sports reports as well as hosts a sports
talk show weekday evenings. He is the longtime voice of the University
of New Mexico Lobos sports (primarily Men's Football and Basketball).
He also has been the longtime voice of the Dukes, broadcasting Dukes
games since 1982.
Russ Langer
When Jim Lawwill announced his retirement after 14 years of broadcasting
Dukes baseball with Mike Roberts, Langer was named to join Roberts in
the broadcast booth. Langer is no stranger to broadcasting minor
league baseball -- he was the voice of the Phoenix Firebirds the last four
years. Langer is also no stranger to Albuquerque -- he graduated from the
University of New Mexico with a degree in Radio and TV Journalism. He also
was a broadcast producer for KKOB-AM in the early 1980's.
