This is a picture I took of comet Hale-Bopp.
I don't remember what day or exact time (but
it was before dawn one morning with the comet
in the northeastern sky). This is a photo
taken from my backyard in Albuquerque, New
Mexico. I used a Pentax K-1000 35mm camera
using a 50mm focal length lens. I don't
remember how long of time exposure I used in
this photo. The primary tail of the comet can be
seen, with a slight hint of a secondary tail off
at a slight angle from the primary tail.
