I have seen people ask what kind of lube to use on their bearing yo-yos, wich i have a good answer to....I have been riding downhill skateboards for about 3 years now and the presicion ball bearings are mini bearings, basically the bearing in a transaxle yo is just a mini mini bearing, and i have tried the same lubricants on my yo yo that i use on my downhill skateboard, i prefer to use a lubrication called speed creme it comes in a small dropper bottle and costs around 3 or 4 bucks, on my skateboard bearings i use 2 drops each, on my yo yo it uses only 1 drop and then i wipe any exess, its important not to use too much, and since theres less stress on a yo yo bearing they dont wear out fast usually they get lost when maintaining or untangling the string, i have also found that tenacious oil works well, but the speed creme seems to last longer, lots of people have recommended tri flow for lubricating skateboard bearings, ive never tried it on either but if one had one they could experiment.... Ive used vasaline, but it has much more friction, the speed creme is the best lubricant for a mini bearing i have found it makes my tigershark spin super fast!!!! you can get it at skateboard shops and the best thing is the bottle is small and you can put it in your pocket(smaller than vasaline lip therapy)
