Tuesday, November 22: We bid a fond farewell to our friends Kirill and the members of Allerseelen and boarded the plane back to Budapest. Met at the airport by Nathalie and Attila we had trouble containing ourselves about how much we enjoyed Russia.
Atilla and his lovely lady accommodated Nathalie, Robert and myself at their residence for the evening as we would be leaving early Wednesday morning for the airport and our flights home. It was a marvelous evening of great food, great wine and great company. Robert told several interesting stories of his life and of Changes' past that kept everyone entertained.
Wednesday, November 23: We left early for the airport on a cold and snowy morning but everything went well and we made our planes on time. Robert and I made it home on Wednesday in plenty of time for the great American family holiday, Thanksgiving, which was on Thursday, even though his flight was delayed a bit in the States due to inclement weather.
Our heartfelt thanks to all the organizers, photographers, light and sound engineers, and other friends who helped make this entire tour go like proverbial clockwork. And, of course, our sincere thanks to all who attended our performances. It was a grand experience that will stay with us always.
